North Shore Arts Association is a 501(c)3 non-profit charitable artist cooperative. We sustain our mission of promoting the advancement and preservation of the fine arts primarily by the support of our members and member fine art sales.
North Shore Arts Association founded in 1922, boasts 6,000 square feet of expansive gallery space in its historic harborside building in East Gloucester.
Joining as an Associate Artist Member provides an opportunity for art creators, appreciators and collectors to contribute to the well-being of this premier gallery, by providing much needed dues income. Becoming a Juried Artist Member offers the distinct honor to exhibit and sell your works in the company of other premier, nationally recognized artists.
Associate Artist Memberships
NSarts Associate Artist Memberships are open to all and offer a unique opportunity to enrich and serve our cultural community. Associate Members enjoy the option of showing, and offering for sale their work in up to two NSarts Associate Exhibitions per season, along with enjoying several receptions and special events. There is no obligation to take part in the exhibition – you may simply enjoy your membership as a patron of the arts!

Once each year NSarts accepts applications for consideration to be elected as a Juried Artist Member for the fine arts of painting, graphics and sculpture. The jury process is anonymous. New Artist Members are selected solely on the merit of their work.
Call for New Juried Artist Members has been postponed until September 2021. Application and instructions will be online June 2021. All 2021 newly elected Artist Members works, along with 2019 newly elected Artist Members, will be exhibited in a celebratory New Members Show October 2-23.
