Daniel Lyman
Daniel Lyman is a resident of Annisquam, Massachusetts and Manchester, New Hampshire. He is a practicing lawyer, the former Interim President of the New Hampshire Institute of Art, and a student and collector of the artists of Cape Ann.
Lyman’s works in oil and graphite have been chosen for juried exhibitions at the North Shore Arts Association, the Rockport Arts Association, the Jane Deering Gallery, the Charles Fine Arts Gallery, the Sharon Arts Center, and many others. Most recently, his works were selected for the NSAA 2022 Exhibit New England and the RAAM 2022 Grassroots shows. Lyman has also had solo shows at the Annisquam Village Gallery and Gloucester’s Matz Gallery. He is a member of the Experimental Group of RAAM and was one of five artists featured in the Contemporary Landscapes exhibit at New Hampshire’s Kelley Stelling Gallery. Lyman has taken numerous classes with Dennis Sheehan, the Paul Ingbretson Studio, and the New Hampshire Institute of Art as well as under Jeff Weaver and David Curtis of Gloucester, Massachusetts.
