Laurie McNiff

Laurie McNiff is a fine artist whose work explores the connection between humans and the natural world. A high school graduate of Walnut Hill School for the Arts, she earned her BFA in Surface Pattern Design and Communication Design from Syracuse University. Formerly an artist and project manager at Cyrk Inc. in Gloucester, Massachusetts, and a high school art teacher, McNiff has recently turned her focus towards deepening and refining her own artistic practice. Working primarily in oil on canvas, she is drawn to the bold interplay of shadow and light, and the harmony and discord between people and nature.
