I hope to reflect in my work some of the deep appreciation that living in this creation deserves.

I’m largely self-taught, which means that I’ve been fortunate to encounter many talented and generous artists and absorb from them both inspiration and technique, though without a formal setting. I’m grateful for all the principles and practicalities I continue to find along this path that began decades ago.

During a career pushing pixels in the digital world, the fundamentals of visual design and integrity were always central. Now I’m able to fully return to my first loves – brushes and paints and canvases, and natural light playing in the real world.
