Rosanne Stavola

Rosanne is drawn to color, texture, and light, finding inspiration in landscapes, architecture, animals, and flowers. She is an oil painter with a desire to capture the essence and experience of her subject. Her palette and lines are influenced by the impressionists.

After retiring from a 20-year career in environmental emergency response, Rosanne was fortunate to be able to explore an evolving career and journey as a painter. She has found that New England is where she feels most at home. The variety of landscapes, changing seasons, and rich history fill her heart and mind with possibilities.

Getting lost in the process of painting where time and external noise fall away has come to feel essential for Rosanne. She appreciates the unspoken conversation one has upon viewing art and the unique voice of each artist.
