Susanne

Susanne Larkham is a colorist pastel artist who lives and works in Manchester, NH. Drawing upon a background in fitness, musical theater, and mathematics, these skills translate readily to create captivating compositions that practically sing.

“I crave the tactile mark making and revel in the brilliance of their pure pigment. Combined with my graphics skills in Photo Shop, my painting style has developed into what I call Idealized realism. I enjoy eliminating all of the extraneous “noise” to let my subjects sing.” Susanne’s favorite subjects include flowers, waves, land sea & skyscapes & portraits.

No stranger to the arts, Larkham earned a BS in Secondary Education Art & Math at Taylor University. She is a 10-year docent, art educator, and volunteer mentor at the Currier Museum of Art having served more than 750 hours and given over 200 tours.
