Therese Blood
Therese Blood began her formal art study at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. She pursued further instruction in still life and oil painting at the Sharon Arts Center under the direction of Sidney Willis. She later studied portraiture with Richard Whitney at Cushing Academy. Therese’s watercolor technique is self-taught. Whether painting in oil or watercolor, Therese prefers a realistic style with a clean use of color. Her paintings have been displayed in several galleries in New England and are part of private collections throughout the United States.
