Todd Montanaro
Todd Montanaro grew up in Rhode Island and started drawing and painting at an early age. He is now an award-winning artist living and working in Boston and Rockport, MA.
Todd studied studio art at The Art Institute of Chicago, The School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and through multiple workshops with nationally renowned artists. His work has encompassed many subjects, but has been focused recently on landscapes, seascapes and architecture.
Todd paints mostly on location. He also paints larger scale paintings, in the studio, based on information gathered from studies done on location. Todd is a member of the Copley Society of Art, The Oil Painters of America, The National Oil & Acrylic Painters’ Society and the Rockport Art Association. Todd is currently represented by Copley Society of Art, Boston, MA; Charles Fine Arts, Gloucester, MA; The Maritime Gallery at Mystic Seaport, CT; Thanassi Art Gallery, Provincetown, MA, and Rockport Art Association & Museum, Rockport, MA.
